William Grover Arnett began his studies at Alice Lloyd College in Pippa Passes, Kentucky and earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in Elementary Education. He subsequently completed a Juris Doctorate at Northern Kentucky University Salmon P. Chase College of Law. As a recipient of a scholarship due to his academic achievements, Arnett wanted to give back to the community that helped him and wrote fundraising materials that helped other deserving recipients with funds. He is still currently a long-time member of the A.B. “Happy” Chandler Foundation which works to provide students in need with college scholarship money. He also founded and still serves as chairperson to another scholarship organization, the William O. and Easter Arnett Memorial Foundation.
This attitude of service is what lend Grover Arnett to serve as Magoffin County Attorney from 1994 to 1999. He served with such quality and care that he was recently recognized by LexisNexis Martindale-Hubbell for providing high quality counsel and abiding by the highest levels of ethics and integrity. In addition to his many achievements, he also was able to establish his own law firm just three years after starting to practice law and continues to pursue excellence in fighting for his clients which are currently primarily workers’ compensation and social security disability cases. His focus is to provide affordable and competent counsel for clients all over the county. He has even been listed as the state’s top ten in workers’ compensation expertise. This makes him both a wealth of skill and integrity.
